Honshu, the largest Japanese island, remains the most frequently visited part of Japan. It attracts both leisure and business travellers. While the tourism of Tohoku (this area was damaged the most by tsunami and earthquake) is still returning to its original state, such areas as Chubu and Hokuriku, which are located on the northwest coast of the Sea of Japan, only stronger their positions. Of course, such major commercial and entertainment areas as Tokyo and Yokohama, as well Kanto region, show best occupancy and performance.
