Hyatt Hotels Corp. has concluded an agreement concerning the managing of 9 newly built hotels in India. The accommodations will be located in different parts of the country. Together with these properties the total number of hotels in India by Hyatt in pipeline reaches 38.
This agreement concerns the opening of upscale and luxurious properties. These will be Hyatt Regency (the company’s upscale brand) hotels in Jaipur, Surat, Chandigarh, Guwahati, Ghazibad, and Lucknow; Hyatt Palace (select service hotels brand) hotels in Seepz and Devanhalli; and Grand Hyatt (the company’s luxurious brand) hotel in Noida.
All properties are currently at different stages of planning or development. The company has also revealed the news concerning its other projects. The 314-key Grand Hyatt hotel in Goa and the 329-key Hyatt Regency hotel in Chennai will start operating already this year.
In its statement the hotelier underlines the importance strong presence on emerging markets, such as China and India. The company has already concluded a series of agreements with famous Indian developers and plans to increase the number of hotels in this country. These words are proven by Hyatt’s plans – the hotelier’s pipeline in India includes 5 Grand Hyatt hotels, 14 Hyatt Regency hotels, 4 Park Hyatt hotels, 14 Hyatt Places, and one Andaz.
