According to a French classification of hotels Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg has been awarded with the fifth star. This is an important achievement for the Sofitel chain of hotels that is known by its ambitious goals of becoming the leader in either French or European hotel market.
In order to get the desired star the hotel had to fit over 200 criteria. There are quite strict rules to 5-star hotels that concern absolutely each sphere of operation – from the rules of meeting guests to quality of services and design of rooms. Previously France has its own 4-star system rating that was then replaced by the international standard.
The hotel in Paris is located nearby main sights of the capital of France - Avenue des Champs-Élysées, church of St. Mary Magdalene, and Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré street. It is traditionally loved by famous politicians, celebrities and other public persons. The hotel was completely renovated in 2010. After this it turned into the real example of grand French style, becoming even more refined and modern at the same time. Veronique Claude, the senior manager of Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg, was responsible for the renovation. She paid attention to all parts of the hotel, so the renewing touched public zones, corridors, open terraces and much more. Also, renovation has made possible the creation of 21 luxury suites and 1 designer suite – a 1075 sq. m large space with the interior developed by Didier Gomez.
The result of the renovation is hard not to notice - Sofitel Hotel Le Faubourg have got 5-star status and enhanced its positions as one of the most luxurious hotels in Paris.
Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg is the eighth 5-star hotel by this hotelier in France. Earlier such hotels as Sofitel Marseille Vieux-Port, Sofitel Paris La Defense, Sofitel Porticcio Thalassa, Sofitel Biarritz Le Miramar Thalassa, Hotel Scribe Paris и Sofitel Dijon La Cloche, and Sofitel Lyon Bellecour got this status.
