The four-star spa Levitunturi hotel in Lapland, located in the Finnish ski resort of Levi, opened a new water park and fun center in September. The Water World covers an area of 8,000 square meters and has 17 different pools (including outdoor), a big slide, contrast baths, 9 saunas and much more.
The guests of the hotel, located 300 km away from Tampere, can also enjoy a gym with modern equipment, rooms for playing indoor tennis, badminton, volleyball and basketball, 8 lane bowling alley, spa-center, several cafes and a children's playroom.
The Water World is open daily from September 2 to April 30. The swimming pool, sauna and gym-center are included in the price of the room. Other hotel services are available at an additional cost.
Located in the heart of a beautiful pine forest near the ski slopes, the Levitunturi hotel is designed like the alpine village and consists of 11 freestanding wooden buildings. Prices start at 120 euros per night.
Levy is in the western part of Lapland, 100 km north of the Arctic Circle and 15 km from the airport Kittilä. It has been three times recognized as the "Best Ski Resort in Finland".
