The U.S.-Cuba Travel Summit in Cancun scheduled for March 24-26, presented by Alamar Associates in cooperation with NTA and sponsored by USTOA, is aimed at improvement of travel relationships between the U.S. and Cuba. The conference features U.S. and Cuban top officials, such as Senator Byron Dorgan (D-North Dakota), sponsor of the Freedom to Travel to Cuba Act (H.R. 874, S. 428), Miguel Figueras, senior advisor to the Cuban Minister of Tourism, and numerous Cuban hotel business representatives, who are going to share their positive experiences of working with international travel companies with official representatives and potential investors from abroad.
This is the 10th U.S-Cuba business meeting to take place in Cancun, organized by Alamar Associates. So far, U.S. officials have discussed with their Cuban colleagues questions concerning general business, agriculture, energy, politics, and more.
