Carlson Opens its First Upper Upscale Hotel in Asia Pacific

Carlson hotel group has announced the opening of Radisson Blu Hotel Cebu, the first Radisson Blu hotel in Philippines and Asia Pacific. This new introduction is part of Carlson's plans to increase its portfolio to 600 Radisson Blu properties around the globe by 2015. According to Hubert Joly, Carlson chairman, the opening of Radisson Blu Hotel Cebu is a turning point in the realization of the famous Ambition 2015 expansion strategy.

Radisson Blu has properties in most significant locations: large cities, top-class leisure districts, near airports, etc. The 400-room hotel in Cebu is located in the middle of one of the world's leading high tech centers. There is Cebu City's International Port and the SM City Cebu shopping mall in the hotel's proximity.

Designed for both leisure and business travelers, the hotel provides top quality services and amenities, including two ballrooms; an all-day restaurant; a fitness area, spa and a large swimming pool.

Carlson's Ambition 2015 plan includes the development of upscale and upper upscale brands characterized by a combination of traditional and contemporary architecture, interior design and service concepts.
