Amsterdam’s Holiday Inn Changes Brand
Park Plaza Hotels has announced the purchase of one of the Netherlands’ largest conference hotels located near Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. Opened back in 2007, the Holiday Inn hotel in Amsterdam is soon to change its name for Park Plaza Amsterdam Airport.
The business hotel features 342 modern-style rooms. It’s main advantage are the 19 multi-purpose conference halls, totaling 1800 square meters, and 6 business units; these facilities make the hotel one of the most attractive places for business meetings in the country.
Each of the 342 rooms features all necessary mod cons. Wi-fi wireless internet access is available everywhere in the hotel. Apart from free access to the fitness center and business area, guests can take advantage of the airport’s delivery service and a spacious parking lot. The hotel also offers numerous restaurants and cafes.
With the acquisition of Holiday Inn Amsterdam Schiphol hotel, Park Plaza will extend its Dutch portfolio to 1008 rooms. The company also holds the following properties in the Netherlands:
Park Plaza Victoria in Amsterdam
Park Plaza Vondelpark in Amsterdam
Park Plaza hotel in Utrecht
Park Plaza Mandarin hotel in Eindhoven
Also, Park Plaza Hotels plans to build the first design-hotel in Amsterdam, near Park Plaza Victoria Amsterdam.
