The First Hyatt Hotel in the Netherlands
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has signed an agreement with Aedes Real Estate developer group to operate the new 122-room Andaz Amsterdam hotel in Netherlands slated to open in 2012.
‘Andaz’ stands for ‘personal style’. Andaz hotels feature modern-style interior solutions and innovative design elements performed with an emphasis on originality and independence. Like any other representative of the brand, Andaz Amsterdam offers top quality living conditions and unsurpassed service quality right in the middle of the Netherlands’ capital.
The new hotel in Amsterdam is housed in the former Public Library located on the Prisengracht canal, within a walking distance from Amsterdam’s main sights. Andaz Amsterdam is expected to become part of Jordaan district’s rich cultural heritage, where you can find numerous modern arts galleries.
Marcel Wanders, one of the world’s most extravagant designer architects, is now working on the concept. He focuses on the idea of creating unique interiors and staggering and attractive atmosphere that should reflect a modern view on the history of the Netherlands.
The design hotel will feature a lounge, bar, restaurant, fitness room and the Andaz Studio business center, the brand’s must-have element.
