Lille Airport is located near Lesquin and 7 km southeast of the city of Lille, Nord-Pas de Calais, northern France. The airline hub is among ten busiest French airports. It handles over 2 million passengers every year. Two runways are used at the airport. It serves a great number of cargo flights and ranks fourth among the busiest airports.

Transfer can be used to get to Lille from the airport. It takes passengers to the city centre and a shopping mall, to the railway station, a tram stop, and a metro station. The transfer bus stops opposite the entrance to the departure hall. It circulates every day. You can also take a taxi – there are several official companies present at the airport – or rent a car.

Rental offices, how to find them, where to return car

A car can be rented at LIL. Several large car rental dealers are present in the terminal: Alamo, Avis, Budget, Ada, Enterprise Rent-a-Car Aeroport de Lille, Citer, Europcar, InterRent, Hertz, Sixt, Dollar, Thrifty. The companies’ stands are located by the exit from the passenger terminal. To get there, you just need to leave the baggage reclaim hall in the arrivals area. Rental offices are situated opposite it, on both sides of the exit from the terminal.

Most companies work from 7:15 am till 10:15 pm on working days, from morning till noon on Saturday, and from noon till 10 pm on Sunday. For exact opening hours, contact the chosen dealer.

The rental companies’ vehicles can be found on a special parking lot. It’s situated near P2. A separate driveway leads to the parking lot. The pick-up and return of the vehicles owned by Avis, Enterprise, Europcar, and Hertz are done on this parking lot. Sixt organizes the pick-up and return of its vehicles on parking lot P3.

Long-term and short-term parking, hotels nearby

There are several parking options at the airport: long-term parking lot P1 (parking spaces should be reserved in advance; it’s served with free transfer), short-term parking lots P2 (within walking distance from the terminal) and P3 (near the entrance to the terminal), VIP parking lot P4 (inside the terminal), tour operators’ parking lot P6 (spaces reserved for tourists). Free parking for 15 minutes is allowed on P2.
