Portsmouth is one of the three oldest cities in America, which strikes visitors by its rich cultural and historical heritage. This house is famous by one fact - George Washington himself stopped in it.

The open-air museum, which is called Strawbery Banke Museum, is the real pride of Portsmouth. This is a large complex that includes more than forty buildings that imitate antique colonial settlements. Tourists will be met by the museum’s staff dressed in special “antique" costumes.
