Breda is a metropolis and a quiet student city in the southern part of the Netherlands that is between Rotterdam and Antwerp. The name 'Breda' refers to the place where the rivers Mark and Aa come together. More than 200,000 people live in Breda. A long time ago Breda was a fortified city of strategic significance in the Netherlands. A great number of different events took place in this city.
