Each year Lahti welcomes international festivals of jazz and organ music, poster exhibitions, seminars for writers and poets. The city traditionally hosts a festival named “Nights of Lahti” that is organized here for many years. The city’s orchestra “Symphony of Lahti” is widely famous not only in Finland, but also around the world.
