The negative impact of hotels on the environment is no secret to anyone, so no wonder why more and more hoteliers turn to eco-conscious hotels. Jumeirah Group is no exception. The company announced its new hotel on Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi. It will be the first eco-conscious hotel in Abu Dhabi in the luxury segment.
Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort is a marvelous beach resort that is located close to the water. It is located in a truly paradise-like place with 400 meters of gorgeous beaches with white sand, undisturbed wildlife, and fantastic views of the Arabian Gulf. Depending on the season, guests of this posh resort can see different marine animals, including nose dolphins, hawksbill turtles, and dugongs. The area near Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort is home to gazelles, grey herons, flamingos, and Socotra cormorants.
Architects of the resort say they were inspired by the beauty of the Gulf that helped them to create the look of the hotel complex. However, the design is, without a doubt, not the biggest strength of the new hotel. In order to build a hotel in the protected sand dunes of Saadiyat Island, Jumeirah had to work hard over making an eco-conscious hotel. Much attention is paid to reducing the number of single-use plastics. For that purpose, Jumeirah collaborated with Trust Your Water company headquartered in Dubai. All guests are supplied with reusable water bottles that they can fill with still and sparkling water at water stations throughout the resort. There are no plastic straws at Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort. All straws are made from recycled materials.
The new luxurious resort is located not far from the center of Abu Dhabi. It takes only 10 minutes by car to reach the incredibly beautiful area with 9 kilometers of pristine sandy beaches and crystal clear water. Fans of golf will be surely glad to know that there is Saadiyat Beach Golf Club not far from the resort. It is also the first beachfront golf course in the Arabian Gulf area.
Saadiyat Island Resort is a modern hotel complex that is perfect for newlyweds and vacationers who want to escape from stress and noise. The majority of rooms and suites overlook the Arabian Gulf. The suites also have panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows. At the resort, there are three infinity pools, a special area for kids with one more pool, a fitness center, and a spa. Vacationers craving even for a more luxurious experience can book private villas with 2, 3, or 4 bedrooms and private pools.
