The Bangkok-based hotelier Dusit International is serious about promoting its Princess brand in China. In order to increase expansion on the market, the Thai hotel company has concluded a partnership contract with Dossen International Group, China. Together, the companies will develop and manage the Dusit Princess branded resorts and residences in the country.
The companies plan to open at least 40 Dusit Princess branded hotels in China within next five years. The hotels will be located in the most popular leisure destinations of the country. It is also reported that 27 out of these 40 hotels will start operating by 2022, with the remaining 13 to open in coming years. Sounds impossible, but Dossen is a serious player with more than 1,200 hotels in operation in 200 destinations around the world. According to Dusit, such an experienced player as Dossen will enable fast expansion on the market, making it possible for the Thai hotelier to set up a network of upscale and luxury hotels in China. For Dossen, it’s a wonderful opportunity to add the Dusit Princess brand to its sphere of interests. Currently, the Chinese developer operates hotels under 8 different brands.
