Meliá Hotels International, which is also known as the largest hotel company in Spain, has announced the opening of a new hotel in the Spanish city of Valencia. The hotel will operate under the TRYP by Wyndham brand.
The hotel is open already this month. Named the Vora Fira, the property will be operating under a franchise agreement. The hotel has 127 guestrooms and other typical facilities such as a restaurant, bar, meeting rooms, car park and even a swimming pool. TRYP Valencia Vora Fira is located just 10 minutes away from the airport, so it will be a wonderful choice for business travelers. Moreover, the Benimamet metro station is located near the hotel, making it easy to get to the city center from TRYP Valencia Vora Fira.
Feria Valencia and its famous Events Center participants may become main guests of the hotel. Last year, the city welcomed as many as 100,000 congress participants, the average spending of who estimated around 330 euro. Tourism industry of Valencia shows positive development over the years too. In 2014, the number of overnight stays in hotels of Valencia was increased by 4.2%, and international arrivals added 8%. Valencia is also the third most important city of Spain for business travelers after Barcelona and Madrid, so corporate travel to the city is expected to grow as well.
