Riu Bravo Reopens its Hotel in Mallorca

In the end of March Riu Bravo finally reopened its hotel in Mallorca after long and extensive renovation. Now guests of the hotel are welcome to look at result of a five-month long work. The new hotel looks modern and fresh, offering updated facilities and services. The total cost of renovation works estimated 15 million euro.

The façade of the hotel was made close to the one of the Hotel Riu in San Francisco. White façade with straight lines and such materials as glass and metal looks fresh and stylish. Inside the hotel, guests will find much light and interesting combination of classic and modern elements in design. The renovation added one more floor to Riu Bravo in accordance with the Playa de Palma Intergated Redevelopment Plan. Therefore, the hotel got six floors from initial five ones and the number of guestrooms was also increased from 345 to 437. Riu Bravo also got one more restaurant specializing in Spanish cuisine. Even though the hotel rank has not changed and it’s still a four-star hotel, Riu Bravo Mallorca is now more sustainable and offers better service.

The hotel was opened in 1980, and at that time it had obvious Mediterranean inspired design. The modern version still keeps signature traits, like wooden structures and columns in the lobby, pool restaurant tiles, and large brown glass lamps. Guestrooms have been fully refurbished and now they are lighter, have simpler design and more glass and metal elements. Bathrooms are also totally new. Bathtubes were replaced with large showers with translucent glass windows.

Guests of the hotel will enjoy its all-inclusive service, which covers all meals and drinks in three bars and three restaurants.
