These days, hoteliers try to attract visitors not only by wonderful service and stylish design, but also by support for newest trends and technologies. Millennial tourists have become quite a force these days, and this age group is famous for its love to all kinds of online services and social networks, so large hotel groups do their best fitting the demand. Marriott International is no exception. Recently, the company announced access to Netflix in eight pilot properties as part of its in-room entertainment service.
It was reported that several hotel chains made agreement with Netflix and will soon add it to their services. The names of these hotel chains haven’t been announced yet. According to the insider information, Marriott is also testing access to such popular services as Pandora and Hulu. Marriott doesn’t reveal all the details, but confirms it is working with several content providers to design next generation of guestrooms with ultimate in-room entertainment.
