Now users of social media can benefit from their love to popular online services and get hotel reward points that can be then used in Marriott hotels worldwide. The famous hotelier has made an addition to its Marriott Rewards points. Plus Points allow members of Marriott reward program get extra points by interacting with the hotelier using popular social networks.
The new offer is valid until November 8. In order to participate in the promotion, social network users must be signed in with Marriott Rewards program, and profiles should be connected. Rewards points can be earned in a number of ways. They can be got by sharing or retweeting posts from Marriott accounts on Facebook and Twitter, by checking in Marriott hotels on Foursquare or Facebook. Instagram users are welcome to add photos of Marriott properties using special hashtags #LoveMarriottRewards #Autograph, and #RenHotels. Users are allowed to earn maximum of 2,000 points per 30 days.
Currently, 30 Marriott branded hotels participate in the program. Marriott International also added 15 Renaissance-branded hotels, and the Autograph Collection brand.
