Residence Inn to Open a Hotel in Sarajevo

Marriott International announced it will open its first hotel in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is going to be Residence Inn Sarajevo that will consist of 75 suites. The suite residence will open closer to the end of 2014, and will be operated by Marriott according to a franchise agreement.

The Residence Inn Sarajevo will become the only internationally branded hotel in the country of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This hotel will be targeted at long-term stay visitors and will offer fully functional modern suites.

The new hotel will have a wonderful location just 20 minutes away from the city’s airport. The Residence Inn Sarajevo has quick and convenient access to the old city, so its visitors will be able to visit not only historical and cultural attractions of Sarajevo, but will also find numerous cafes, restaurants and shops near the hotel. Sarajevo is an increasingly popular tourist and business destination that welcomes guests all year round. In summer the city is famous for its festivals, and in winter it becomes a popular skiing destination.

Residence Inn hotels offer suites of different size perfect for many night stay (from 5 nights are more). Typically, a Residence Inn hotel has studios, and suites with one or two bedrooms.
