New Historic Suites in Café Royal in London

News Café Royal, a hotel in the heart of London that opened last year, has presented new suites. Each of five historical suites has its peculiarities and belongs to a particular period.

The largest suite (200 sq. m.) is named the Empire Suite. The suite has a separate living room with a marble dining table, leather armchairs and velvet sofas; a bedroom with a study and a large walk-in wardrobe; a bathroom with a huge bathtub, a rainfall shower, and a special place for treatments. The design of the Empire Suite can be described as “luxurious” as walls are made in golden hue, and large mirrors have golden griffins as supports. The Empire Suite overlooks Regent Street.

The Dome Suite has a circulate shape. The suite is made on the site of the former Country Fire Office’s Club Room. The open space suite has some “rock and roll” feel in it with a DJ booth and a large green bath tub. The Dome Suite has two terraces that overlook such iconic sights of London as Big Ben, Westminster, and Piccadilly Circus.

The next suite, the Club Suite has decent French influence in its design – the hotel has some French roots. Upon entering, guests of this suite will see a portrait of Napoleon in red and gold gilding in the living room. The suite’s bedroom is made in a contemporary style and is decorated with Portland stone. The Celestine Suite is named after the wife of the founder of the hotel – Daniel Nicolas Thevenon, who opened Café Royal in 1865. The main room is made in soft yellow shades. There is also a bedroom with a large walk-in bedroom. The Tudor Suite is inspired by the Elizabethan era and contains some authentic items from that period, such as a fireplace, and Jacobean symbols on the walls of the living room. The suite has a green marble dining table, green velvet sofas, and a special screening room. Finally, the Marquis Suite also overlooks Big Ben and Piccadilly Circus and has a huge fireplace in the middle of the suite.
