The Andaz hotel in Tokyo will offer luxurious setting and personalized service. The new property will become the fourth hotel in Tokyo by Hyatt, and the ninth hotel in Japan. By the way, this is not the first collaboration between Hyatt and Mori Building both the companies have collaborated on the opening of Grand Hyatt Hotel Tokyo (the hotel is set to open in 2013) and Park Hyatt Shanghai (the hotel opened in 2008).
Andaz Tokyo will occupy two and top six floors of a 52-storey tower, which is currently under construction in Toranomon. Toranomon is a prestigious business and embassy district in Minato Ward, and it was initially designed by the government of Tokyo as a place for Asian Headquarters. The tower, the height of which will be 247 meters, will be the second tallest building in the city, and will house numerous offices, residences, shops, and conference venues. Andaz Tokyo will have 164 guestrooms and suites, restaurant facilities, and a spa. The top of the tower will be the location of an open-air bar and an event space with outdoor seating.
