The first Four Seasons hotel in Beijing, China, has finally opened its doors. The new accommodation is located right in the heart of the business district of the city.
The design of the new 313-guestroom hotel is centered on Chinese contemporary art. The central skylit atrium of the hotel is even decorated with a calligraphic artwork named “Landscape of Desires”. The author of the artwork is Qin Feng.
Dining facilities of Four Seasons Hotel Beijing are represented by two restaurants and three lounge bars. All the dining facilities are managed by a team of professionals and Chef Martin Knaubert. Cai Yi Xuan is a restaurant, where guests will be able to try Cantonese food and Shanghai-Hangzhou specialties. The restaurant’s menu was partially developed by Tony Lu. He added there such dishes as pancakes, dumplings, dim sum, as well as some other local specialties. This restaurant is perfect for big events and private dining as there are six private dining rooms. The second restaurant, Mio, serves Italian cuisine. The restaurant features an open cuisine with a wood-fired pizza oven. Finally, the lounge zones are located in different parts of hotel, and they are distinguished by special features or dishes. For example, Opus Lounge is the best place to enjoy your afternoon tea, and The Tea Garden is decorated with 400 powder-coated butterflies made of steel.
The hotel is also equipped with a spa center. Powered by a team of professionals and their head Fay Sirisopa, the spa features 11 treatment rooms. Other facilities include a large business center operating 24/7, a swimming pool with whirlpool, a 24h fitness center, and a huge event space of 3250 sq. m.
