Wyndham Hotel Group, which is also known as the largest hotel company in the world with more than 7,170 properties, has announced four more properties across China. The company will open new properties under its upscale brand Wyndham Hotels and Resorts.
The location of the new accommodations is already known. These will be hotels in Huagshan, Xuzhou, Sanya, and Hangzhou. The portfolio of Wyndham in the country already amazes as the hotelier operates 470 properties in China. The portfolio of the hotelier in Asia Pacific region includes 541 hotels that work under such brands as Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, Ramada, Super 8, Howard Johnson, Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham, and Days Inn. According to the company China is one of their key markets, so they see a lot of opportunities for development of both business and leisure travel.
The first of the four hotels is Wyndham Hangzhou Binjiang hotel in Hangzhou. It will have 250 guestrooms and 26 suites, and will offer a rich choice of various facilities. The property will have a swimming pool, spa, fitness center, three restaurants, and meeting and conference rooms for events and business users. The hotel is to open in 2014. The other three hotels will open in 2015. Wyndham Grand Sanya Haitang Bay will have 210 guestrooms and 10 villas located close to Olympic Park of Sanya and its unfinished International Exhibition Center. This hotel may become popular with food connoisseurs as it will offer numerous all-day dining and specialty restaurants. Wyndham Anhui Huangshan hotel in Huangshan will have 270 guestrooms and 50 villas, and will offer its guests to attend Blue Harmony Spa, a swimming pool, whirlpool and fitness center. This hotel will be a wonderful choice for business visitors as it has 7 meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 1,000 people. Finally, Wyndham Xuzhou Tongshan will have 290 guestrooms and 30 suites, and will feature direct access to the urban center of Xuzhou.
