Le Méridien Barcelona, a popular accommodation in the famous Spanish city, has opened its suites and spa center after an extensive renovation. From now guests of the hotel are welcome to stay in 19 luxury and spacious suites developed by Isabel Lopez Vilalta + Associates.
The hotel in Barcelona features two types of suites. The Mediterranean Suites are equipped with a private 40 sq. m. (430 sq. ft.) large outdoor terrace. The terrace has a large dining table, a place to seat, a sculpture made by the well-known Catalan artist Jaume Amigo and even a rain shower. Not only a sculpture, but the furniture inside the suite is designed by Jaume Amigo.
The second type of the suites offered is the Prestige Suite. These suites have unusual circular shape and huge windows. Much of furniture is also circle or half-moon. Some suites of this type have half-moon beds or sofa beds and verandas. The furniture for the Prestige Suites was also exclusively developed and produced by Jaume Amigo and Santa & Cole.
Finally, guests are welcome to visit the renewed Explore Spa Studio that now has two treatment rooms, a sauna, areas for hairdressing and pedicures, a solarium, a steam room, and a terrace pool.
