Hyatt Expands Its Hyatt Regency Portfolio
Hyatt Hotels has concluded a deal with Piccadily Hotels Private Limited concerning the opening of two Hyatt Regency branded hotels in India. This agreement increases the number of Hyatt regency hotels in India in pipeline to 55 properties.
The first hotel out of these two is Hyatt Regency hotel in Gurgaon. The new property will have 452 guestrooms and is located close to Manesar industrial corridor. The hotel is equipped with a fitness center, a spa, a traditional Regency Club lounge, and a swimming pool. Dining options are represented by two specialty restaurants, one three-meal restaurant serving international cuisine, a bar, and a gourmet store. The hotel will feature extensive business facilities – over 42,700 sq. ft. of meeting space and a grand ballroom of 24,000 sq. ft.
The second property is Hyatt Regency hotel in Ludhiana. The property is located in the commercial district of the city, and so it also features various business facilities and over 7,500 sq. ft. of meeting space. The 167-guestroom hotel features rooms and suites, the size of which ranges from 409 sq. ft. to 1,022 sq. ft. Other facilities include a specialty restaurant, a bar, a three-meal restaurant, a spa center, a swimming pool, and a fitness center.
Both hotels are scheduled for opening already this year.
