Thailand-headquartered ONYX Hospitality Group will open its first hotel in China under the Amari brand. This will be a 105-key hotel on Hainan Island – one of the most popular leisure tourism destinations in China.
The property already operates under another brand and is owned by Sanya Daxing Group, the largest developer of the region. Prior to rebranding the hotel will be renovated and turned into an upscale hotel-boutique. The opening of Amari Sanay Bay is scheduled for 1 March 2012.
Amari Sanya Bay will offer pleasant atmosphere, modern Asian hospitality and famous Asian flare. Peter Henley, the president of ONYX, says he is very delighted to work with Sanya Daxing Group. The launch of Amari brand in China is a significant achievement for the company and they hope to have a successful business in one of the most popular tourist destinations in whole Asia.
The hotel features an advantageous location just 20 minutes away from Sanya Phoenix International Airport. The building has 11 stores and its rooms are equipped with balconies, from which tourists can enjoy stunning looks of Sanya Bay. Among the facilities offered on the territory of the hotel are a Chinese restaurant, a Thai food restaurant, a spa center, an outdoor swimming pool with a poolside bar, and a clubhouse at the waterfront.
