UK Crowne Plaza Will Offer Special Snore Absorption Rooms

Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts has started testing of rooms of new type that will have special snore absorption capabilities. These rooms will reduce sounds and muffle the echo inside the room. First property to test this feature is Crowne Plaza hotel in London. If successful, it will be spread to eight other hotels by this company in the Middle East and Europe.

Walls in such guestrooms will be equipped with a special material that will make them soundproof by absorbing loud frequencies. This is not the only enhancement as the rooms will also have special anti-snoring bed wedges that will be used as body pillows. Snoring is usually caused by such position of the body, when the base of the tongue and soft palate drop to the back of the throat. In order to escape this position the beds will come with special anti-snoring pillows that have neodymium magnets inside them. Finally, all rooms will have a white noise machine that is known to reduce snoring and enhance relaxation.
