Zinc InVision has revealed its ambitious plans concerning the opening of 28 new properties in the Middle East and North Africa. For this purpose the company will invest US $180 million into development.
The first new property by this hotelier will become a hotel in Dubai Jebel Ali, which is set for opening in 2014. The accommodation will be opened under the brand Zinc Edge.
Zinc InVision has appeared not long ago. This company has been formed by two large Asian companies – Bangkok hotel management firm InVision Hospitality and Singapore Cinnovation CG. Earlier Zinc InVision made an announcement concerning its plans about the opening of 30 hotels in Asia.
Currently Zinc InVision has 7 brands targeting different groups of travellers. These are Glow Studios (business hotels), Zinc City (upscale hotels), Zinc Edge (budget hotels in urban locations), Touch by Zinc (wellness resorts), Zinc Living (long-stay living), SOMA (SPA resorts), and Zinc Journey (heritage travel).
Currently Zinc InVision sees Dubai as its key destination. As managers of the company state, this region has perfect conditions in terms of running business. Other upscale and midscale accommodations may appear in Oman, Bahrain, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and some other locations.
