New Hotel Brand Specializing in Middle Price Range Segment Will Appear in the Netherlands

Swiss consultant group Heal & Partners Sàrl has decided to launch new middle priced hotel brand. The official premiere of the brand named Spirit Inn & Suites will be held in January 2011 in Zaandam, the Netherlands.

These hotels in Holland, launched under the Spirit Inn brand, will offer approximately 80% of standard hotel rooms and other 20% will be suites. All rooms are intended for long stay. Moreover, the brand will also offer its own proprietary restaurant concept “Spirit Café – Restaurant & Lounge”.

As Hans Kennedy, the company’s executive, states “We heard from different sources that the time for the new brand came. The brand that is not going to be very costly and where people can feel as comfortable as at home, so guests could move freely, order food and services exactly when they want them. This concept has been used in creation of the Spirit Inn brand”.

All Holland hotels of the brand will offer free Internet access, 24/7 business center and a souvenir store. A chain of Spirit Inn hotels will be connected to Swiss International Hotels – a consortium specializing in sales and marketing (founded in 1980). Both Heal & Partners and Swiss International Hotels are subdivisions of Swiss International Hospitality Commons company.

Zaandam will be the home city for the first Spirit Inn & Suites hotel. It will be located close to the main railway terminal just 10 minutes away from the center of Amsterdam. The transformation of a 102 office building into a hotel started in March 2010. The building is owned by the company Trinca BV.

Future expanding of the Spirit Inn brand will include opening hotels in Netherlands, United Kingdom, Switzerland and Germany.
