InterContinental New York Times Square Officially Opens on July 29

InterContinental Hotels & Resorts has built InterContinental New York Times Square hotel - a high-rise 603-room 36-story hotel - right in the middle of the Broadway Theater district. Towering above the scenic New York's skyline, the hotel has become the biggest newly open hotel in New York since 2002. The hotel is located in the vicinity of Fifth Avenue shopping centers and the city's most interesting sights, which makes it extremely attractive for family travelers. Every room offers spectacular panoramic views of the city. Floor-to-ceiling windows save guests the necessity to walk out of the hotel and go sightseeing, since the sights are literally spread before the eye. The hotel features 25 Panoramic Avenue Suites. To top that off, the two-level Penthouse Suite gives an amazing view of the Hudson River, Times Square, Broadway and the surroundings.

External architecture design by Gensler presents a wonderful chemistry of the elements intrinsic to two areas: the Theater district and the old-time Clinton district. The interior combines classic and contemporary trends.

The hotel features numerous restaurants and 10 meeting rooms, plus 25 luxury suits that can be used for business purposes. InterContinental New York Times Square is the largest hotel in Manhattan to receive Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification.
