Renting a Car in Philippines - Recommendations
If you need a car with an automatic transmission, it is recommended to book it in advance. Cars with automatic transmissions are often sparse in Philippines, so the rental confirmation may take a longer period.

At the car return time, please ask the officer to make a visual inspection of the vehicle for defects and to sign the acceptance report. Keep the invoice and the acceptance report for next few months.
21. You will see a lot of fancy cars in the Philippine Islands. Not all local people have enough money to buy new cars, but no one gives up the opportunity to have their own vehicle. Local craftsmen collect cars from old parts, so new vehicles often look quite original.

25. On intercity highways, motorists will notice a lot of bright billboards. Because of them it seems that you’re moving along the main street of a large city. Even remote country roads are intensively “decorated” with billboards.
26. There are small stickers with a phone number on the back of some cars. Drivers are encouraged to call that number if the owner of the car violated traffic regulations.
