Grands Hommes – is a big indoor market, opened in the 19th century. On the first floor, you can find food, on the second – different household stuff, souvenirs, and works of art. Though, the shops on Rue Bouffard may offer even greater amount of bronze, silver and gold items. Here you can acquire unique pieces of furniture, and fine jewelry, and paintings from the local artists. Also take a look at the souvenir shop, dedicated to Bordeaux – those t-shirts, bags, cups, and magnets with the city symbolic will always remind you of your trip. Those, who like eclectic stuff, will enjoy the Saint-Michel district. There are also three markets here – two of them work on Saturdays in different parts of the district, and the third one works on Mondays near the Basilica of St. Michel.
