Information and Customer Care Desks
Tourist infodesks (tel: (0)934 784 704 or 780 565) are located in Terminals A and B; there is also a hotel information point in Terminal B. Airport infodesks can be found throughout the airport, at six locations in Terminals A and B.
Available Facilities and Services
Money withdrawal and Communication facilities: Banks, bureaux de change and ATMs can be found in Terminals A and B. There is also a post office on the ground floor of Terminal B.
Cafe and restaurants: There are restaurants, cafeterias and bars in all terminals.
Shopping facilities: Duty-free shopping is available in Terminals A and B; there are also a range of other shops in these two terminals. These include a jewellers, bookshop, tobacconists, newsagents, music shop and shoe shop.
Luggage services: A left-luggage office is situated in the Terminal B Arrivals area. A lost property office is situated in the Bloque Técnico building (tel: 932 983 349).
Other services: There is a pharmacy, a 24-hour medical service, tour operators and travel agents, and children's play areas.
Car Parking Info
There are public car parks at the airport with space for nearly 13,000 cars. Car parks are located directly in front of each terminal. Terminal A and C are directly connected to the car parks via air-bridges. VIP parking in a secure car park, with collection outside each of the terminals, is also available (tel: 932 971 381).
Driving by car from/to Barcelona
From Barcelona city centre, take the Barcelona ring road, with the airport exit via the Pata Sur. The airport access road is the Barcelona-Castelldefels C-31 motorway, which connects with the Barcelona-Stiges C-32 motorway.
Public Transportation from/to Barcelona
By Railway: There are train services from the airport to the city centre, on the RENFE Mataró line. All trains stop at Sants-Estaçio, Plaça Catalunya, Arc de Triomf and Clot-Aragó, all of which connect with the metro. The RENFE Cercanías station is connected to the passenger terminal via a travelator, which is situated in front of the terminal building between Terminals A and B.
How to reach: By Taxi: Taxi ranks are located outside the terminals (journey time to Barcelona: 25 minutes). By Bus: There is an Aerobus (A1) service to Plaça de Catalunya, departing from in front of all terminals. Bus no.105 departs from Terminals B and C, to El Prat; bus no.106 also departs from Terminals B and C.
In this city one can find not only ancient places of interest, but also modern ones, saying in other words Barcelona is a city that can suit needs and tastes of every tourist. The most comfortable way of visiting numerous sights of Barcelona is traveling by a special tourist bus, which stops at all the historical places of the city. The other way, which not less pleasant, is walking around the city.
