Nobu Hospitality, a luxury hotel chain recognized as one of the most innovative hotel brands, keeps expanding its portfolio. This time the company is going to open a new hotel in Warsaw, Poland. It looks like Nobu’s star founders, namely, Nobu Matsushita, Robert De Niro, and Meir Teper are not afraid of the problems on the hospitality market caused by the COVID-19 outbreak.
Nobu Hotel in Warsaw is going to open very soon, on August 3rd, 2020. The property in the capital of Poland is going to be the first Nobu-branded hotel in the country. Once the hotel is open, the portfolio of the luxury lifestyle brand will grow to 12 hotels and 43 restaurants around the world. The new Warsaw hotel will have 117 stylish guest rooms, an up-to-date fitness center, and functional event and meeting space. Needless to say, no Nobu hotel is possible without a legendary Nobu Restaurant and Café.
Nobu Hotel in Warsaw will consist of two wings. The “classic” wing is open in the building of the former Hotel Rialto. This is an Art Deco building completed in the 20s of the previous century. The “modern” wing is newly built. The design of this part of the hotel is the result of the collaboration between California-based Studio PCH and Polish company Medusa Group. The companies tried to reflect modern Warsaw and its diverse atmosphere in the design of the new hotel but didn’t forget about the Japanese roots of the brand. Multiple masterpieces of Polish art from the Jankilevitsch Collection decorate the hotel.
The popularity of Warsaw has been growing in recent years. This is the seventh-largest growing hotel market. Steadily, Warsaw turns into a major destination in East Europe. Tourists usually visit Warsaw for a city break, sightseeing, art, and local food. Poland is also a great choice for post-COVID-19 travel and this country was one of the least affected in Europe due to a fast lockdown. Currently, Poland is recognized as one of the safest travel destinations in the summer of 2020.
The first Nobu hotel in Warsaw is open on Wilcza Street not far from the Old Town. Originally made in the 13th century, Wilcza Street was thoroughly rebuilt after World War II. Guests of Nobu Warsaw will like proximity to shops, art galleries, bars, and restaurants. The signature Nobu Restaurant & Café will open a bit earlier than the hotel on July 17, 2020. The restaurant will offer non-traditional cuisine made from fresh and local ingredients and the signature Japanese dishes.
