New “Only in Dubai” Experiences are Available to Guests of the Emirate

News Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (or simply Dubai Tourism) tries to increase the popularity of the emirate and attract as many as 25 million guests to the city. For that purpose, it has launched a number of events and promotions, some of which are already available to travelers. The new initiative “Only in Dubai” aims to increase guest satisfaction and make visitors want to return to the emirate again.

Dubai’s Tourism Vision 2022-2025 is focused on offering unforgettable experiences and unique initiatives that will only strengthen the position of Dubai as a world-class destination. Only in Dubai offers a series of “touch points” that appeal to different categories of travelers. The primary goal of the new tourism program is to make Dubai the most visited city in the world by 2025. That will become possible if the annual number of guests reaches 25 million. Dubai Tourism hopes that their new initiative will offer a series of delightful moments to tourists while removing detractor moments, helping to achieve satisfaction and inspire millions of tourists to re-visit Dubai in the future.

It is not hard to rank hotels in Dubai as for that purpose it is simply enough to leave a review. Measuring visitor satisfaction is significantly more complicated. To make that possible, Dubai Tourism has invented Tourism’s Happiness Index that was approved by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. This index measures the loyalty of every visitor to Dubai and the city’s ability to exceed expectations of its guests.

Personalization is another key sphere that Dubai wants to improve. As the chief executive officer of Dubai Tourism mentions, offering diversity and experiences for all groups of tourists is not enough, and the city’s hospitality industry needs to become more personalized. Currently, Dubai Tourism works closely with its partners in order to offer memorable experiences to guests right from the moment they start planning their vacation.

Without a doubt, customer service is an important aspect that can spoil any vacation. To make sure that tourists enjoy the best service possible, Dubai Tourism collaborates with Dubai College of Tourism. Their program called The Dubai Way focuses on teaching skilled staff for domestic transportation, hospitality, retail, and other industries.
