Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, the Dallas-headquartered hotel company, has announced the opening of its first property in China. This will be Rosewood hotel in Beijing that is to be opened in the summer of 2013.
The 279-guestroom property features a beneficial location in the Chaoyang District just opposite the Central China Television Headquarters. The new property is designed by the Australian company Bar Studio Architecture.
According to the president of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts the new hotel will blend history and culture, and will provide its visitors with warm and homelike atmosphere. The hotel’s design will be modern and energetic, but at the same time it will provide its visitors with high comfort.
Visitors, who are keen on landscapes and nature, will be surely delighted with this hotel. According to Rosewood, the hotel will feature more terraces and gardens than any other luxury hotel in Beijing. Greenery will be organically added to various recreational facilities, restaurant and even a spa. Business facilities will be represented by function and meeting areas developed together with P Landscape, Bangkok.
Standard guestrooms will be 49 sq. m. Dining facilities will be represented by seven restaurants and lounges, and the total size of meeting facilities will be 3,065 sq. m. The hotel will also have a huge 766 sq. m. large ballroom with an outdoor garden adjacent to it. Meeting and function space will also feature the debut of The Pavilion concept that will be then spread to all Rosewood properties in Asia. The Pavilion will have a residential feeling, and will have a bar, show kitchens, dining spaces, and lounges.
