Hilton Garden Inn will be updated, and the brand has already got six new prototypes. It’s a serious revamp for the hotel brand that was launched 25 years ago. The changes concern not only guest rooms but also F&B elements and include new shareable desserts and upgraded small plates. Hilton started a new multi-million dollar campaign in order to advertise the changes. The new slogan of the campaign is “simple things at another level”.
Upscale Garden Inn hotels were made to be light and airy properties. Hilton promises to keep these signature features, same as an award winning food and beverage program. The changes were necessary in order to stay competitive in the fast changing industry. The new design is more customizable and more tailored to the region of hotels. There are six prototypes in total, one for each global region.
The changes in design primarily concern public areas. For example, check-in areas got a pod-style look, and meeting places are more adaptable to the requirements of guests. The prototypes were made to have even more natural light. Overall, the design looks contemporary yet fresh and not over detailed.
Hilton will also provide more healthy food options for guests of Garden Inn hotels. The menus will include more choices that are hot right now, such as craft beer, premium wine, and small plates. Shareable desserts, another popular trend these days, will be added to the offerings of restaurants. The design of dining places will also get a revamp. Hilton plans to add new open-display kitchens and make restaurant and bars more “sociable”. In-room coffee and tea will be available just like in the past, before the upgrade.
The Shop, a popular spot to buy all kinds of small necessities at Garden Inns, will have an upgraded list of items for sale. The 24-hour grab-and-go shop will start selling various snacks and salads, local food, craft beers, and beverages for any taste. It will also get a new self-service coffee bar. Hilton Garden Inn is a popular choice for both business and leisure travelers. Currently, the brand has 720 hotels in 33 countries around the world.
