Moxy Hotels continue their expansion in Asia Pacific by announcing two more properties for Japan. Moxy Tokyo Kinshicho and Moxy Osaka Honmachi will greet their first guests closer to the end of 2017. That would make them the second and third properties by Moxy in the region as the debut property is Moxy hotel in Bandung, Indonesia, that is set to open in Q3 2017.
The emerging brand by Marriott International fills the gap in affordable hotels with personality. According to the hotelier, modern travelers need not just a hotel, they need an adventure. However, budget friendly hotels usually do not have personality and that is what Moxy is expected to change.
As one can guess from its name, Moxy Tokyo hotel Kinshicho will be located close to Kinshicho Station, one of the most important stations in the capital with simple access to all main tourist parts of Tokyo, including Asakusa, Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo Sky Tree, Narita and Haneda airports. The 205-guestroom hotel will be made in chic industrial style. The second hotel, Moxy Osaka Honmachi, also has a great location close to Honmachi Station, which is one of the most popular stations in Osaka. Guests of this hotel will enjoy close proximity to the Namba district famous for its shopping and the Shinsaibashi district perfect for food tours and nightlife. The hotelier promises that the 155-key Moxi hotel in Osaka will have an unexpected design and high-tech guest rooms.
Moxi is a new hotel brand with the first property, Moxy hotel in Milan, open in 2014. Currently, there are Moxi hotels in Berlin, Vienna, Frankfurt, New Orleans, the UK, Munich, and Tempe. 70 more hotels are in pipeline, including properties in all popular European cities.
