Green Cars for Eco-Friendly Hotels

Green hotels have become a hot trend in recent years, so there’s no wonder that more hotels try to become more environment-friendly. In their efforts to reduce pollution, hotels stick to new ideas, such as eco cars. For example, The Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel (Spain) offers cars for rent for its customers. Recently, the company has started offering a new vehicle – Smart Ushuaïa Limited Edition. The eco car created in collaboration with Mercedes-Benz is available for the hotel’s guests for 40 euro a day (an additional insurance fee of 15 euro a day is required). Eco car is a perfect vehicle to explore the beauty of the island.

In order to make the vehicle fit the core concept of the car, Smart Ushuaïa comes with luxury multimedia system with audio touch screen and a collection of DJ music that was played on the stage of the hotel.

Another hotel that offers the same service is B2 Miami. Here guests are welcome to enjoy car rides in eco Smart cars thanks to the new car2go program. By the way, if you sign up to the program before your actual visit to the hotel, you will be given first 30 minutes of driving time for free. All bookings can be made through the mobile app or right on the spot.

Earlier, MGM Resorts International announced the addition of six new cars to its transportation park. All the vehicles are driven by compressed natural gas.
