Westin Hotels & Resorts announced the launch of a new advertising campaign that became the first campaign of the hotelier in 5 years. The multi-million campaign is called Let’s Rise and is dedicated to well-being of hotel guests.
The advertising campaign was inspired by new wellness related travel trends that are now hot in the hospitality industry. In order to develop the campaign, the hotelier surveyed travelers in North America, Germany, China, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates and Mexico. The results of the survey showed a shift in thinking of modern travelers, who now pay more attention to their well-being on the road. The slogan of the new campaign is “Will you get up, or will you rise?”, and it covers various aspects of staying healthy like waking up early, eating healthy, finding time for a workout and proper night sleep. The campaign also brings together other signature programs of Westin, such as Gear Lending and Heavenly Bed.
In order to fit the global demand, Westin hotels around the world will upgrade their 24/7 WestinWORKOUT studios and will add new equipment that fits modern trends in fitness, stretching and exercising. The hotelier will continue their partnership with New Balance and encourage guests to be more active. Special RunWestin Concierges prepare routes for all levels of runners and encourage hotel visitors grab a running map or join group running in most scenic places. In order to help hotel guests relax and enjoy better sleep, Westin will offer a free Sleep Well Lavender Balm amenity infused with chamomile and lavender oils. Finally, signature bath & body products will get a new formula that is paraben-free, dye-free and paba-free.
The hotelier has an ambitious expansion strategy and plans to open 50 Westin hotels within 5 years, including hotels in Vietnam, Indonesia, Taiwan, Malaysia and the Philippines.
