Shangri-La Expands Its Loyalty Program

News Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts announced its new improved loyalty system The Table by Golden Circle. This is a new food and beverage program that is not added to the main loyalty program of the brand and is available for guests of all Shangri-La properties. The upgraded program features exclusive offers, new partnerships and improved benefits for all members who dine at Shangri-La hotels.

The Hong-Kong headquartered hotel group manages 98 hotels and more than 500 restaurants and bars in different parts of the world. The Table by Golden Circle program is currently under development as the hotelier keeps surveying members of Golden Circle and regular hotel guests to find out their preferences towards dining and restaurant services. However, members of Golden Circle (Shangri-La’s loyalty program) can already enjoy access to signature food menus, exclusive offers, surprises and other benefits. Dining at Shangri-La operated restaurants will give guests more points, and, thus, more rewards.

Previously, guests had to stay at Shangri-La hotels to earn reward points. Now that is not necessary and the Golden Circle Award Points can be earned simply by eating and drinking at restaurants and bars located at Shangri-La hotels, Kerry and Traders and Hotel Jen around the world. The points are earned instantly and can be redeemed on the spot. Members of Jade and Diamond levels get extra points for dining, and all discounted items and services still yield points.

Together with the upgraded dining rewards, the hotelier added new dynamic dining content to its digital platform. Now all dining options are divided into five moods – elegant, upbeat, intimate, adventurous and chill. The website also spotlights artisans who are responsible for supplying food to hotels.
