Ritz-Carlton is currently in the process of creating a digital campaign for multiple social media channels, and the company wants customers to be a part of this program. For that purpose, the famous hotelier engages everyone to participate in creation of its slogans. In order to do that, customers need to think of creative stories written just in six words. When the contest is finished, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co. will publish eight best stories.
The concept of writing a story just in six words comes from famous writer Ernest Hemingway. According to one legend, he was offered to write a touching story that consists just of six words. To win the challenge, he wrote the immortal “For sale: baby shoes, never worn”. Now everyone is welcome to unleash their writing talent and participate in Six Word Wows program through Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google+, Sina Weibo, and Pinterest. The phrases can be made in English and Mandarin, and need to be supplied with #RCMemories hashtag.
The hotelier commented the program telling today people share their memories in social networks every day, and they wanted their visitors to be faster and shorter to grasp the memories and the power they had.
