Just like many hotel companies, Wyndham Hotel Group has a special rewards system called Wyndham Rewards. Previously it was mostly targeted at frequently travelling customers, but now Wyndham has made it more oriented to all customers in general.
The new rewards system appeared on the basis of special research and customer feedback. Now Wyndham has two program benefits Guaranteed Rewards and Gold Status. As a rule, one needs to stay many nights until he gets enough points for some bonus. As not all of us are frequent travellers, a large portion of points simply disappears. With Guaranteed Rewards system even one night stay accumulates enough bonuses that can be redeemed. Customers can use these bonuses to subscribe to magazines and newspapers, use them for free music downloads, get children’s books, and so on. The smallest reward is available just for 50 Wyndham Rewards points. There are almost 30 different rewards under 1000 Wyndham Rewards points, and under 2000 points travellers can select from 80 different options.
If you stay in Wyndham hotels more frequently, you may be eligible for the brand new Gold Status. Simply stay in Wyndham Hotel Group participating properties, and each 20th night will be absolutely free for you. Together with this free night guests get the Gold Status. Continue earning new points, and you will be able to redeem them for event tickets, gift cards, and other presents. The Gold Status can be achieved by people living in 50+ countries where Wyndham Rewards program is offered.
Wyndham says that this new program is the result of the rapid expansion of the company. Having opened hotels in more than 20 new countries in 2012, Wyndham simply needed a new rewards program that would be more globally oriented. The company wanted a transparent system of rewards for both frequently and less frequently travelling people, and it probably managed to do that.
