Marriott Operates the Highest Hotel in the World
JW Marriott Marquis Dubai, which was opened in November, was named the highest hotel in the world. The record will be added to in the Guinness Book of World Records.
The hotel in Dubai, the height of which estimates 335 meters, belongs to Emirates Group. By the way, this is the first JW Marriott Marquis branded hotel outside North America. The hotel already works, but only a half of it accepts guests. The building consists of two towers. The first tower with 804 guestrooms was opened in November, and the second tower with another 804 guestrooms will open in 2014.

The hotel can become an ideal place for all kinds of events and meetings as it has more than 7500 sq. m. of indoor and outdoor space and a pool deck. Other facilities include nine restaurants dedicated to different cuisines, and five fantastic bars and lounges. Dining facilities of the hotel can satisfy even most demanding visitors. For example, Prime 68 serves juicy steaks, Rang Mahal headed by Atul Kochhar is dedicated to Indian cuisine, and Izakaya is the best place to try delicious sushi. If you enjoy wonderful panoramic views, you will certainly like the Vault cocktail bar that is located in the 71th and 72th floors. There is a swimming pool on the 7th floor. Here guests can swim, sunbathe and enjoy cocktails, snacks and beverages from the Aqua Poolside Bar and Grill. All the dishes and drinks are inspired by South Beach in Miami.
Beauty and health facilities are represented by The Saray Spa and Health Club, where guests will be offered to try various relaxing and wellness treatments.
