Bespoke Hotels, a famous UK boutique hotel operator, has recently become one of the largest hotel companies in the United Kingdom. This has become possible thanks to the acquisition of the former Oxford Hotels and Inns portfolio. The portfolio of 37 hotels was added to Bespoke Hotels, which now operates 97 accommodations.
The majority of the hotels (85 properties) are located in the United Kingdom.
The hotels will be steadily rebranded, and will be operating under Beloved and Befriend brands by Bespoke. These are 4-star and 3-star hotel brands respectively.
The Oxford portfolio appeared in 2006, when its former owner, the Swallow Group, was put under administration. The portfolio is very interesting and promising as it contains many prestigious hotels. Among them there are such famous hotels as Carnoustie Golf Hotel and Elemis Spa in Dundee suburbs (85 guestrooms) or the 200 guestroom Lugger Hotel not far away from Truro (Cornwall), which is located at the seaside. The Oxford portfolio consists of various boutique hotels, country inns, and even castles in Scotland and England.
Bespoke Hotels are very satisfied with the speed of their expansion. Now their main aim is to work with the staff of the hotels, and prepare these properties for the holiday season.
