Starwood Hotels & Resorts has reported that it brings its Element brand to Europe. This is a green-focused brand that is currently represented by 10 properties in the US. The debut hotel will be located in Frankfurt Airport and will open in 2014.
The hotel in Frankfurt Airport will be built in accordance with an agreement between Bari Gruppe GmbH & Co. KG and Starwood. The hotel will be located in a newly built complex. The complex is called Gateway Gardens and it will be located in a new business district near the airport. The hotel will have 133 guestrooms. All the guestrooms will be equipped with flat-screen TV, modular furniture, closets with custom design, open shelves, large desks and even fully equipped kitchens. The bathrooms of hotel rooms will be made in spa style and will feature rain showers and dual-flush toilets. Dining facilities in Element Frankfurt Airport will be represented by an espresso bar and signature restaurant. The territory of the hotel will also include 24h fitness center and a wide range of fully equipped business and meeting facilities.
Starwood spokesman commented the deal telling they had big plans concerning the Element brand in Europe and in Germany in particular. They believe the concept of the brand will find its followers in the region.
