Interstate Opens a Luxury Hotel in Dublin

Interstate Hotels & Resorts has added one more luxury property to its portfolio. This is The Marker hotel in Dublin, which now is managed by the famous hotelier. The Marker is the newest luxury hotel and a complex of apartments in the city.

The 187-guestroom hotel is located in the business district of the city at Grand Canal Dock. The hotel isn’t operating yet and may start accepting first guests in the beginning of 2013. The owners of the new property are Brehon Capital Partners and its investment partner Midwest Holdings. The hotel in Dublin will be the 27th hotel in the European portfolio of Interstate. The hotel will enter the family of such famous and popular hotel and resorts as J Hotel in Shanghai Tower, The Charles Hotel in Harvard Square (Massachusetts), Eilan Hotel Resort & Spa in Texas, and the Rajasthali Resort & Spa in India.

Interstate has a rich experience of managing high profile and boutique hotels, so the hotelier hopes to bring new standards of luxury to Ireland. The Marker has a very convenient location with access to financial, entertainment and technology districts of the city, so it may quickly become the leader in the luxury segment of Dublin. The stylish hotel has 8 floors and offers wonderful suites and penthouses. The hotel will be a part of the Leading Hotels of the World family. The ground floor of the hotel will be represented by a restaurant and a bar. The hotel’s spa will have a large swimming pool (23 meters) and four treatment rooms.
