Jumeirah Marks its Presence in Europe
Jumeirah Group has finally marked its presence in Europe by opening the first hotel in Mallorca, Spain. Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa has 120 guestrooms and is equipped with two restaurants, four bars, a spa center, and two swimming pools.
The hotel consists of 11 individual buildings that are specially designed to fit the surrounding landscape. The design of the new hotel features mostly natural patterns, such as earth tones, olive and pine shades, and beige. Spacious rooms and suites of the hotel overlook sea and provide excellent views of harbor and mountains.
The spa center of Jumeirah Port Soller, Talise Spa, features magnificent views of the Sierra de Tramuntana. Talise Spa, which occupies the area of 2,200 sq. m. (23,680 square foot), is equipped with 10 treatment rooms, a special therman area with a hammam, a heated hydropool located outside the hotel, an ice room, and a sauna with glass panels. Guests are also welcome to relax near a fireplace.
Dining facilities in Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa are represented by 2 restaurants, Cap Roig and Es Fanals. Here guests will be served delicious food cooked from organic ingredients and seasoned products.
The hotel will be a good choice for travellers with children as there is Barbaroja Kids Club for children aged from 3 to 12. Besides rest adults and teenagers can attend cooking classes. Other activities offered include bike excursions on the island.
