Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of two Hyatt-branded hotels in Zurich. These will be Hyatt Regency and Hyatt Place hotels located in The Circle – a large mixed use development in the territory of Zurich International Airport. The grandiose construction will include several hotels, shops, offices, a commercial center, space for events, and much more.
Hyatt Regency Zurich Airport will have 250 guestrooms and 17 suites. The size of rooms will vary from 32 to 72 sq. m. (344-775 sq. ft.). The hotel will offer guests wide range of dining facilities, outlets with beverages and food, a large fitness center, and 3,210 sq. m. (34,000 sq. ft.) of space for conferences and meetings.
The second hotel, Hyatt Place Zurich Airport, will have 300 guestrooms and will provide its guests with wide range of additional services, such as 24h made-to-order meals and snacks, a kitchen where visitors can have meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), a bar and a café with wide choice of snacks and drinks, an e-room, and a fitness center. All visitors of Hyatt Place are also given access to business and meeting facilities of Hyatt Regency.
The opening of the two hotels will enhance the positions of Hyatt in Switzerland and may attract a large number of visitors – Zurich Airport is a large transportation hub with 24 million of travellers a year. Zurich is also known as one of the largest financial centers in the world and a home city for many banks and financial institutions, so Hyatt targets business auditory with its hotels and plans to become a popular location for various conferences and corporate events.
