Interstate Hotels & Resorts Will Manage Hotel in Shanghai

Interstate Hotels & Resorts has revealed the new addition to its portfolio. Starting from February 1, 2012, the company will manage the 514 guestroom JC Mandarin Hotel in Shanghai. The internationally renowned hotelier has concluded the agreement with the hotel’s owner – Shanghai Jin Chang Mandarin Hotel ltd.

Development in China is one of the key targets of the company, so there’s no wonder why Interstate has been very interested in getting the luxury 5-star hotel to its portfolio. This is the third hotel in Shanghai in the portfolio of Interstate. Currently the company manages 8 hotels in China with the total number of guestrooms exceeding 3,100. The news about the managing of JC Mandarin Hotel came out after the announcement of another management deal of Interstate in Shanghai – the company will run J Hotel in Shanghai Tower. The hotel will start operating in 2014 and will be the tallest hotel in the world.

JC Mandarin Hotel is located in the center of the business district of the city, and has convenient access to all major shopping centers and offices. This is a well-working 5-star hotel famous for its excellent service. JC Mandarin is considered one of the best hotels in Shanghai with one of the largest ballrooms of the city.

The hotel has 514 large and fully equipped guestrooms, wide choice of facilities for leisure and business visitors, a fitness center, and European Wellness Spa. Dining facilities are represented by Mandarin Pavilion Chinese Restaurant, Grille Restaurant and Wine Bar. Guests are also welcome to enjoy relaxation and talk in Cuba Cigar Lounge.
